Signs of Life.

So, it's been awhile, I know...

...what can I say? I'm pregnant, which loosely translates to: "I'm practically dead".

I'm pretty much the worst spokesperson for pregnancy, so let's just...not.

I've been busy, trying my best to convince myself and the world around me that I am completely ready and totally prepared for a third child. I've kept my first two alive for awhile...one of them eats...the other pees in potties...

I've got this.

Honestly, I've had a lot on my mind lately. I know, when do I not have a lot on my mind, right? But really, life has been challenging and this last year has forced me out of my comfort zone in every single way, every single area of my life. I have been moved to tears, sent to my knees, held to the floor with the weight of a world I didn't recognize anymore. Growth is painful, as I've discovered...but it's healthy and it's necessary. This change, this pain and the challenges that have come and are still dished out daily...they are all necessary

I'm not a huge fan of Miss Monroe but I happened upon this while browsing Pinterest the other day and I just couldn't pass it up. It's annoyingly simple...and isn't exactly how I feel...but it's still good.

Anyway, this really is not how I imagined this post but it is what it is. Signs of life.

And while I'm here...speaking of life...our Fifth Phythian is the size of an orange now.

AN ORANGE.

Slow down, little one...
